Exhaust Tune - Reinhard
If there’s one thing that’s let this car down since I so-called ‘finished’ it, was the exhaust. It was the exact same shitty 3” piece that, whilst it served its purpose for the last 8+ years, didn’t exactly match the aesthetic of the rest of the car.
The final straw for me was the last spin I took it on before going to Canada where it started leaking once more around the cat. It also hung incredibly low and was once of the factors I had to consider around setting the overall ride height for the vehicle.
Fortunately, I’ve been blessed with knowing many skilful people in my life and being able to get some of them to work on the car over the years has brought me great joy. It’s added even more sentimental value to the car and reconfirms that, whilst this car is solely my vision, it certainly wasn’t built solely by me. It really does take a parish!
The work you see here has been months of planning, starting last summer when I ordered this beautiful titanium Reinhard twin pipe backbox from @nengunjapan. Internally baffled and resonated, this isn’t a run of the mill shotgun exhaust like you’ve seen previously.
The rest of the work has been completed by @supreme13._ @pspaddy_ who truly went above and beyond in getting the exhaust tucked up out of the way, solid but with no vibrations and most importantly,v-banded all the way throughout to ensure no more leaks. I couldn’t recommend this man’s work enough, he is fucking gifted at his craft as the work here shows. Arguably what is the final piece to a pretty decent looking puzzle.
